It's a summer must-have. Without it, your summer is incomplete. Well, sort of, especially when you really wanna be buck on trend. And boat shoes always make their cut every spring/summer with variety of colors, materials and designs to choose from. Whether you wanna go for pastels or the classic black, white or navy, or in leather and canvas -all work pretty well for the season.
So, which one do I like for this new season? The one by Paul Smith looks pretty classic with a little twist, a flatter sole. I think I can see those in my shoe closet even for many, many years to come. Yet they're quite pricey @ £190! And the big playa in the boat shoes department - Sebago - looks pretty cool too with their classic version of the famous footwear. And cheaper than Paul Smith. Oh, how to wear a boat shoe? Some people say do it with roll-up trousers. Particularly in chinos, coz it looks better. Yet, it doesn't matter if you wear it with jeans, as long as it still rocks. Me, I like to pair it with cropped pants for sure, with a 'lil rolled-up on the leg. :)
And by boat shoes, that doesn't mean you HAVE to board on a real boat btw. Unless you really wanna do that on the HMS Belfast by the Thames. Ahaks!
