The actual plan is to go to Marc Jacobs store at Mount St. Mayfair to see what's new in store. But I think I'm too early that day coz MJ store is not yet open. Or maybe is about to open coz it's not yet noon. Instead of waiting outside the store looking like an idiot, I made my detour along the street - starting from Mount St. ... in and out of Berkeley Square Garden, and all the way to Bruton St. and Conduit St. It's all about Mayfair. Kinda nice journey though it's quite freezing chill coz the temperature suddenly plunged to less than 18 degree C. And it's quite gloom and doom too.
Btw, what's my find? The pix says it all...
New collection at Louboutin @ Mount Street. Red soles, girls?
It seems that canary yellow are in for Louboutin SS10 collection
Stella McCartney @ Bruton St, besides Kenzo and Matthew Williamson.
Tie dye and flowy for Stella's SS10
On to Conduit Street, I found Issey Miyake store. And saw the lovely 'Twelve' watches and some others on one side of the window display. When I walked around towards the other side of the store, I am stunned. Stunned to look at the mannequins wearing the very Asian-inspired ensembles. Hmmm... where have I seen it before? Aha! It's exactly the one being worn on the catwalk by Francisco Lachowski. Lovely.
It's quite intricate. The top looks like it's made of embroidered fabric. Both colors looks amazing in real life - the blue and the red. Next to it is the other piece which I like the most. The neutral kaftan which is very Punjab inspired, I think. Love how the length ends just above the knee. Awesome designs. =)
If you take a stroll along Conduit St, you'll also discover Starbucks Coffee shop which is different than other Starbucks in London. And there's also Vivienne Westwood stores (the Man is the opposite to the women's store) as well as Belstaff. Oh, there's new CH Carolina Herrera @ Mount Street too if you like a bit of understated, simple and chic luxury in your wardrobe.
So, go to Mayfair for some dash of luxury stroll! :)
