Sylvester Stallone Shows Off New Ink

Rocky star Sylvester Stallone put down the gloves in exchange for a rose when he had his upper arm tattooed with a picture of his wife to mark their 10th anniversary. Stallone lifted up his t-shirt sleeve on U.S. TV to show the tattoo of wife Jennifer Flavin on his upper arm.

And he revealed that the three roses surrounding her face were for their three daughters, Sophia, Rose, and Scarlet. Sly said that he got the tattoo after running out of things he thought he could get Jennifer to mark such a big occasion.

“I’ve given her everything i could possibly give: children, a house , ring, a car. Aggravation - I’ve given her everything. “She said, ‘What can you get so that I’m always with you? So I said, ‘OK, here’,” lifting up his sleeve to cheers from the TV audience. “Those roses are for my daughters,” he added.

L’acteur et catcheur Dwayne Douglas Johnson, alias “The Rock“, arbore de nombreux tatouages, en partie liés à ses origines samoanes. Issu d’une famille de catcheurs, puisque son père, Rocky Johnson, son grand-père Peter Maivia et ses oncles Afa Anoa’i et Sika Anoa’i ont tous été des catcheurs reconnus. D’origine afro-canadienne par son père, il porte haut les couleurs des Samoas américaines, dont il est originaire du côté de sa mère, avec un important tatouage tribal samoan sur l’épaule, qui prend toute sa manchette, une partie de son torse et de son dos. Ancien joueur de football américain reconverti dans le catch sous le nom de Rocky Maivia en hommage à ses aïeux, il devient “The Rock” en 1997. Acteur de séries et de cinéma depuis 1998, il est devenu populaire suite à ses rôles dans “Star Trek : Voyager”, “Le Retour de la momie”, “Le Roi scorpion” ou encore “Doom”
