The event featured a complimentary chair-tease class, and a bachelorette theme complete with bridal cupcakes and goodies.
Billie Holiday from Mad Dog and Billie in the Mornings on Virgin Radio was to attend as the honorary bride for the evening, but she had a last minute emergency and couldn't make it, so one of the other attendees played the role of our bride for the night. Guests were able to mingle and chat, complete the chair-tease class, nibble on some goodies and explore the studio.
Taking a personal tour of the studio, I found myself immersed in an upbeat vibe that was relayed through the employees.
Our dance instructor Theresa has been involved with the company for two years and has been performing since an early age. She mainly teaches Burlesque, and was very involved with the learning process of her students for the evening.
Theresa greeted us all with a smile and launched into a fearless chair routine to Katy Perry's chart-topper “E.T”. This class was not only fun, but gave me a sense of accomplishment. It was both a work out and an enjoyable way to interact with class-mates, and have a laugh.
I feel that the bachelorette party that this gym offers, would be the perfect fit for women who would prefer not to do the bar/club routine but still go a little crazy.
The gym offers three studios, a lavish interior complete with chandeliers, complimentary showers, a mini bar, and art work painted by their staff.
The staff are warm, welcoming, professional, and friendly. They are the perfect embodiment of the fun flirty everyday woman.
Prices are quite reasonable for the classes they provide. Single drop-in classes are $20, while punch cards range in prices from $90-$280. Regular memberships range from $98 a month.
So, laced in pink, this gym is a force to be reckoned with, and I strongly recommend it to any modern day gym bunny who is not only looking to have fun with their workout, but a different experience in the lead up to their wedding day.
