Extra-deep V Sweater by Tom Scott for Raoul
It's not a cardigan, but it surely do look like one. It's not even a deep-V neck t-shirt, but definitely has that deep-V feature. Rather, this is a deep-V neck sweater by Tom Scott for Raoul, for Autumn/Winter 2010 collection.
I'm loving everything about it. The color which is very urban cool. The ribbed edges on the neckline, the cuffs on the sleeves and waist. The material which is not too chunky, yet looks waffle-like that is good to retain more heat during colds seasons.
Though the shoulder is very droopy, the torso appears quite slimfitting. I just wish that the shoulder line to hang slightly in the middle of the deltoids so that it truly rocks all out. :)

Adidas SLVR Autumn 2010
Apart from Y3 which is designed by Yohji Yamamoto for Adidas, the other 'high fashion' line that I also like from the famous sport's brand is SLVR. Their new collection for Autumn 2010 conveys the simplicity and clean silhouettes as usual, with great tailoring that combines the sportswear with a dash of casual-formal look. I love the new knitwear like the jumper and cardigan worn by Ryan Koning, as well as the jersey jacket seen on Kaka. Very cool indeed...

SHORTLIST Style: Summer Knitwear
I don't really know how is it like to be in other parts of UK, or even in the Europe these days. But if you're happen to be in London like me - as what I've been saying in this blog lots and lots of time - the weather is utterly unpredictable, that sometimes can really goes like Katy Perry's song: you're hot and you're cold! (complete the song at your expanse, ahaks!). Sometimes you get a pretty warm (but dry) sunny days... while in split second the mercury can suddenly drop to the teens. Soooo unpredictable. And that's why I have a massive respect for those poeple who work in the Met Office though. I know their life is hell too..nggg...
In this late summer when it's going to autumn and the chill started to creep into your deepest bone, investing in good knitwear is a must. Something that can keep you cosy; from material that's not too thick and wooly that can scorching you up, or too thin that you can't stop gagging in shivers when the unforgiving breeze started to slap on you. A cotton-based knitwear could do the job well since they're the in-betweeners.
SHORTLIST has given some options out there. From the high-end labels like Burberry Prorsum strap sweater and Neil Barrett stone crew-neck knit, to the one more affordable from Gap and Cos. Whatever the budget is, I'm sure they can keep you cosy enough in this late summer. :)

Tribal @ Topman
See these sweaters at Gucci before? The Aztec prints make a huge trend this season when Gucci showcased them in some of the pieces in the last SS10 catwalk. From the sweaters to the shirts, jackets and scarves... many have the geometric prints which look very tribal, by which Frida got insipration in her previous trip to South American region last year.
If Gucci is out of your typical budget (as most of us, ahaks!), head down to Topman coz they got this black sweater with tribal prints on the front and back. Love the black & white combo which is quite cool and chic. The fabric is great for summer chill coz it's cotton-based, which I think suitable to be worn during the daytime too (provided that you're not wearing it in the hot sunny day!). Another thing that I like is the woven technique used - kinda having some sort of white underlining - making it look quite 'meshy'. A great design for the tribal trend for Spring/Summer 2010. =)
