Today marks the final day of London Fashion Week. And after a gruelling 5 days being fed with the womenswear, alas it's the 'MAN on Wednesday' time to shine. A special day just for the menswear collection to be showcased by the designers like Carolyn Massey, James Long, Christopher Shannon, Tim Soar among others. They might be showing what we might gonna wear in 6 months time, but for the time being let's just focus on what's gonna be the hot trend for autumn '09.
After previous GQ September issue, now Shortlist is also lined up some of key trends for the coming season. Err.. to be worn from next month, perhaps. Yadda, yadda, yadda.. I think I've read or even written about it before. The checks, tweeds, db jackets and pea coats are definitely in. Making a comeback too is the cable knit just like what Dolce & Gabbana did last AW'08. And to heighten your sartorial level, velvet is included in the list. Btw, great to see Andrew Walker graced the editorial issue again in those clothes.
In my word, whatever the wallet size... you can always copy the look from highstreet pieces. :)
