From now on, I could predict which direction the trend is going after experiencing it seasons after seasons. Comes Spring/Summer - you can never run away from these three big features: snakeskin, tribal prints and dyed clothings. Whatever and however the designers and highstreer labels interprete them, that's up to them - still, those 3 key trend would always keep on coming once the hot weather started creeping in.
So, talking about dyed clothings, this season it swings in both directions - having both tie-dye and dip-dye appear in not only tees and trousers, but also accessories as well. Like this t-shirts that I tried at Uniqlo in two color versions - blue and purple - in gradual color forms, reminisces the chromatography experiment results that you get in that Chemistry lab. Oh, did I mention it's from Uniqlo? Yes, quite a surprise to see the highstreet label that always synonymous with simplicity, clean cut pieces would come up with such items like that. Anyway, they fit superb. I love the details around the collar, as if it's been twisted all the way which make it quite unique (hence the word Uniqlo, right? Unique clothing! :D)
Oh, another thing. I think it does go well with the combat shorts from New Look coz they seem to share the same color theme! But wear both at your own peril or you'll look like a clown. It's okay to double denim, but double dip-dye... I think that's way too much to bear! :)

I also love the tie-dye scarves at New Look. Kinda raw, grunge feel to it especially the black and grey one. Something that you can also find at All Saints. I love the scarves on the last pix though, with the fringe and things, coz that's more edgier than the four others. :)
So, spring/summer - you can bet to dye, dye, dye!
