London Fashion Week: How To Work It...

London Fashion Week has gone to full swing and reached day 2 today. While lots of designers and editors as well as fashionistas are 'embroiled' with the life within the catwalk shows, you too can be part of the fashion world. Living it in style while you're in the capital. So, how to do the week in a truly 'fashion' kinda way? I have an idea what you can do...
.
.
.
  • Sleep: The Sanctum Soho.

If you wanna spend a night in the capital, then better do it with style at The Sanctum Soho. Right in the middle of West End, the boutique hotel is the place to be. Oooh... I just love the modern decor of their crash pad! Really to die for... And the four-poster bed.. aaaaaa!

  • Drink: Pret-a-Portea @ The Berkeley, Knightsbridge.

When in London, do what the English do... drink tea. But not just any tea - a high-fashion themed afternoon tea @ The Berkeley, which is brilliantly called; Pret-a-Portea. They have a selection of loose-leaf and herbal infusions tea for you to choose. But it's not just that they're famous for - it's the cakes you're about to nibble which is inspired from the fashion season and in the style of the world’s finest designers like...
  • Anya Hindmarch light apricot sponge summer ‘Halen’ bag wrapped in almond marzipan with playful bow.
  • Paul Smith orange papaya and pink lavender bavarois topped with chocolate bowler hat
  • Chanel clog biscuit adorned with chocolate brown studs and white leather glaze.
  • Yves Saint Laurent soft romantic white chocolate mousse and raspberry custard, with crunchy meringue scattered with mini strawberries.
  • Sonia Rykiel nautical vanilla and raspberry jam layered mousse topped with humorous yellow hat.
  • Belted Jason Wu poppy-seed cocktail dress biscuit embellished with ruffled purple icing.
  • Erdem dark silky chocolate cake filled with passion fruit and delicate lace.
  • Christopher Kane pale pink almond macaroon filled with white chocolate and elderflower ganache topped with pink checkerboard.
  • Jean Paul Gaultier fluorescent cheese cake on almond and oat base, accessorized with a bright yellow sugar twirl.
All served on fine-bone china by Paul Smith for Thomas Goode. Very high fashion indeed...

Or, if you think that's too much, then head to Liberty to savour those Manolo Blahnik mini shoe cakes by Little Venice Cake Company instead.

  • Read: The Daily of London Fashion Week

Can't get into the fashion show but don't wanna lose all the excitements that LFW got to offer? Fret not. Just grab The Daily at the Somerset House to read all the happenings within the days that London Fashion Week is currently having in the capital. From the gossips, to who's who doing what - The Daily is what you're supposed to be reading together with your Metro and The Evening Standard.

Or you can also read it online. Or catch the video streaming of the catwalk shows too at LFW Official website.
