One of the important element made me love about Gucci designs in clothing is the rock 'n roll attitude which has been synonymous with Frida's style of creation through seasons. The slim and skinny silhouette really accentuate the brave new gent who like to live the spirit of youth and edginess which can come across as retro mod and modern contemporary as well. For SS12, she reflected the sartorial mood of the Seventies again with a reference to Micheal Caine in the heydays, and the reflection of craftsmanship of the Saville Row, which is seen on the cut of the suits and tailoring.
Another thing that I like about the Spring/Summer 2012 collection is when Frida mentioned that it is for the gentlemen who is "a stylemaker, but also a rule breaker". Perfecto.
These are some pieces that I truly adore, which i think gonna be massive for next year's trend : the checks.
absolutely loving this mini checks suit...
Gucci signature loafers in new micro-horsebit buckle...
this check suit exudes London's Carnaby Street vibes during the days...
love this center webbing details. could be mistaken for a YSL though...
this is uber mod... kinda reminds of the late 60s and early 70s sartorial gents...
a perfect look of a baseball jacket... in suede/leather. simple but chic.
