...But Dude, Where's My iPad? : Part 1

Rumor has it that iPad 2 is gonna be revealed next Wednesday, on March 2nd. Can't all gadgeteers kept their seat steady when they heard the news? Definitely not coz anything that falls from the Apple tree would have a large ripple effect to any techno freak around the globe. Take the previous iPad which was released last year in April. Isn't that already made everyone go gaga about it? Some might cringe on the name 'Pad' itself, but in the end who's the one that hailed iPad as the best and unrivalled tablet so far? The gadgeteers. That doesn't include the iPhone4 'Leakgate' which cause a ginormous media frenzy in 2010! It's what they said... people need an Apple each time to get their 'gadget' sickness away!

Anyway, I'm really waiting for iPad 2. I can't sit tight coz it's what I've been waiting for. Since last CES at Las Vegas when the image of the new iPad 2 so-called 'leak' to public, I can say it looks pretty okay. Yeah, just okay.. coz I know in the end the real thing would be better looking than the mock. Yet, after hearing all the tech spec rumors like it's gonna be thinner, weight less (not weightless unfortunately!), able to FaceTime since there'll be a camera, the processor being pumped up...and yadda yadda yadda, who wouldn't be tempted? Though I heard the screen resolution's not gonna be 'Retina Display' coz they said it's quite hard to do it given the size of the gadget, but with the improved resolution I think iPad 2 is gotta be better than the predecessor. Maybe for the Retina Display we're all have to wait for iPad 5!?

Ok enough. To do the countdown towards the release next week, what do you think is equally associated with iPad? Its accessories. The iPad cases, the iPad sleeves. the iPad cover... and all the likes. Once the new iPad is out in the market, the accessories also changes automatically to suit the new look and the new dimension to fit it perfectly, just like the fashion trend as well. (And that's why it's a BIG business!).

One of the iPad cases that I'm eyeing for is this one by Thomas Lyte in mustard. Codename: The Kenley, this iPad case in Breuinger grained, vegetable tanned and bridle leather is inspired by their iconic Kenley luggage piece. The case is fully lined with luxury Plum silk featuring the Thomas Lyte flower stream and is handcrafted in England.

Isn't it look simplicity chic? I think it does. And the big question: can it store the new iPad 2 in it? No doubt, yes.
