... But Dude, Where's My iPad? : Part 2

Let's continue the countdown towards the release of iPad 2. Next in line is the iPad cases by the most coveted British brand, Burberry. Previously the fashion house has released quite a number of iPad cases under the Burberry London flagship, featuring grained leather in matte colors like black, burgundy, military green and 'fawn' beige. To me they doesn't really stands out since they doesn't really feature a signature Burberry except for the brandnames on the front cover. That's all. Suit for those who are into more subtle style yet still wanna own a piece of a designer brand, though.

But for me, Burberry is all about the checks design. Brit check, New check, Nova check, Haymarket checks..etc...etc. THAT is what you should look for to really say that you're indeed wearing a Burberry. Or carrying one, in case of bags. Kinda a well-known conspicuous look without having to point out the big lettering things like what some other brands used to. A subtle conspicuous, if you may.

Anyway, what's out there in store when it comes to iPad cases? These three lots looks quite good. The first one is in charcoal monochromatic that has a masculine feel. Though it's a coated canvas (with leather trim), I love the pattern that looks very symmetrical giving it a chic look.

The other one is for those who wanna stand out but in a subtle way. It's leather, where the checks pattern is held diagonally and given embossed feel, making it looks quite contemporary and modern. It comes in two other colors like red and blue, yet I think for men you shall opt for black since it looks more..ehem.. manly.

The last one is for those who like some vintage effect in the smokey brown, coated canvas. It's somehow a nice twist to the traditional Burberry checks pattern.

While the cases share the same features such as zip around closure on three sides with large leather zip pull and an interior flap for holding papers and cut-out leather frame to secure the pad in place, the inner linings though ranges from fabric to leather to suede, depending on the types of iPad cases you choose.

Looks good? Absolutely. Got some money to buy them? Check!
