Denim is totally huge this season and going for a full force both at designer labels and highstreet stores. While lots of people (including moi) talks about the reintroduction of double denim, one thing that has taken the trend to another level is fusing denim into t-shirts. Like the one that's seen on D&G Spring/Summer 2010 catwalk in Milan. If you look from afar, you might expect that the model - Danny Scharz - is wearing a denim shirt layered above the white tee. But hey, you're wrong coz it's actually a denim-printed long-sleeved tee instead. Isn't it brilliant - to do a denim but the fact that it is not? Very creative indeed.
So, if you think Dolce's price tag is way too up there for such a tee, then the one at Zara can do the part. Just look at what i've tried quite some time ago. It's all about 'trick' to the eye. Oh, don't be fooled with all the jewellery and stuff. Not the denim cropped-sleeves jacket either, coz everything - I mean, everything - is actually one piece. They're all 'printed' on the white t-shirt. The fact that it create such an optical illusion, even me have been busted to think that it's denim worn over tee. Brilliant, isn't it?
