New year, new trend. Be it the cut, the accessories, the color - everything seems to be changing as the new season comes through. Well, it's fashion anyway; that's why it's prone to change! So, what's in the bag this coming Spring/Summer 2009? Let's see...
- The Color...
As the term says 'spring, summer', the first thing comes in mind would deffo be the flowery, burst of colors and patterns. Well, not quite. I'm seeing more laid back kinda color, which is dominated by white. Yes, the purest color - WHITE. As well as the 'dusky', powdery shades like yellow ochre, sand, light blue, grey and dusky tone of purple.
White is absolutely gonna be HUGE. It's seems much of the fashion houses use this color for next season - such as D&G, Gucci, Louis Vuitton and Calvin Klein. Probably due to the hot weather (it's the climate change, you smartypants), so white would reflect the heat thus cools the body!

Louis Vuitton- The Short...
Last season saw the short being cut above the knee. But next season, the cropped short is gonna make a comeback. Not just cropped pants, the slim or tapered and lies just below the knee. Calvin Klein do it best, so as Giorgio Armani who took inspiration from the South/South East Asian influence. On the other hand, D&G offers more tailored pants that is cut to the knee length for the edgy look.

D&G- The Bag
One of the must haves is the bag. Again white dominates the color next season, whether it's canvas or leather, as seen at Louis Vuitton, D&G and DSquared2. Design that is much loved is deffo the totes. Easy to chuck in all your belongings while making ur fashion statements!
