Having a sweaty armpit is nothing other than horrendous. Not just unfashionable, but also very gross. Just imagine when you wet your under arm, the stain really shows. Especially during summer, when the weather is scorching hot. Plus with the polluted urban air, it can get even worse. And the most horrific is when you have to hold the upper bar in the Tube. Nothing says more than a nightmare!
I've tried quite a number of antiperspirant products. From Carolina Herrera Chic deodorant stick to Adidas Sport roll-on. Both works well covering the odor, but only temporary. But their sticky feel and tend to leave white stain on the shirt is not a good choice. (Very bad, esp if you're wearing black!). Aerosol type? No thanks. I'm not a fan of any spray thing. It can cause me breathing problem. Plus, not good for the environment too.
In my conquest for a better deodorant, I found the Clinique Men's Stick-form Antiperspirant Deodorant. It says on the website:
"Non-staining, non-sticky protection that goes on dry, stays dry—no waiting to dress. Provides all-day protection from odour and wetness caused by perspiration."
My verdict: It does what it says on the tin. Without any doubt. Underarm remains dry, non sticky, fragrance-free and leave no stain (less stain, if any). Nice texture, good packaging and the protection really for all day long. Price? Affordable - about £10. But with the quantity that can last for almost the whole year, I think it's a great bargain!
