Enter to the Kingdom of the Skull

If you happen to be in London, don't forget to visit British Museum at Bloomsbury. There you can see the crystal skull. Yeah, the real thing... which made famous in the Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull movie. Rumor has it that there're many of them in the world (13, if I'm not mistaken), and one of them is in London. Nonetheless, they said that this artefact is not the one from Aztec, but a European 'made' since they found the non-authenticity of the skull. (You should come to London if you wanna know the whole story :D). But, erm... I dunno whether you can do that 'world domination' thing if you get all of them. =)

Anyway, talking about skull - summer trend is being 'attacked' by the skull again. Skull prints is seeing everywhere either at highstreet or designer labels. Alexander McQueen is really famous for that, coz the late designer has made it as his signature. If last time the print are seen on the tee, this time it reappear though at slightly different design. Oh, the brand also got skull prints on the scarves and sandals too.

Other designer that follow suit is Gucci with their version of their skull crest design on the tee and vest. The other that I like is by Bolongaro Trevor @ John Anthony coz they got that McQueen SS09 'flowery' feel, but at a fraction of the cost of the real McQ!

At highstreet, everybody is doing skull prints from Topman for their bling, bling sequins, River Island for its flora skull and New Look for a simple one. All at prices that're wallet-friendly. Me, I'm still loving my skull-print tee @ H&M, designed by Tokio Hotel - simple and the fit is superb.

Oh, if you want something different - not on your tops - then you may want to consider this rucksack by Paul Smith. Look closer then you can see the skull all over the bag. That's too spooky, but interesting one. =)
