SHORTLIST Style: Art Nouveau Collection @ Liberty

If you ever walk passed Liberty store at Great Marlborough St these days, then you might have noticed the accessories in their window display. It's from the Milanese most coveted art and design team - 10 Corso Como - who featured their capsule collection for Liberty of London for the Spring/Summer 2010. They're limited edition pieces, which ranges from scarves to tote bags, hats and shirts, all bearing the artistic print which is very art nouveau, a little bit Gothic kinda way. Truly synonymous with Liberty itself which is famous for anything gotta do with 'print'.

The one for men that I really like are the ties which is featured in the previous issue of Shortlist. They're made of 100% Italian cotton poplin and comes in choices of color such as ecru, yellow and pink. I like the fact that the print design is really symmetrical, like a mirror image of the other side should you divide it into half. And it still has that 'flora' theme, which is what Liberty is all about. Don't they look awesome? Absolutely. I think they're great if you wanna spice up a bit to any bland and understated business attire without looking too garish. :)
