I was watching GMTV last week when Mark Hayes showed what you can buy for your mum on Mother's Day which happened to fall on Sunday the 14th (in UK). One of them include this brooch from Topshop. Topshop?? Unless your mom is truly an edgy one, Topshop would merely not for any typical mum go shopping, isn't it? Lol!
Anyway, the brooch. What I love about it is the zipper which is being used to make that shape of a bow. Or flower. Or clover, whatever you wish. And there's some faux gems on it too with two little birds. Clever design isn't it? Now you know how to make use of that disfunctional zipper, huh? Time to unleashed your own DIY of yours. Ahaks! (DIY as in design-it-yourself!) ;)
Oh, you can buy that brooch for your mum or whomever you fancy as a gift, and tell them it's from Versace. Why? Coz apparently it does look like the little details on the Versace dresses showcased in the previous SS09 collection. In a shape of a heart instead. If you think spring/summer 2009 is already a passe, well... isn't it retro a new look nowadays? =)
