Are You a T-shirt or A Shirt Type?

So, are you a T-shirt or a shirt type? Take this quiz and you'll know which type you are. Come on, it's just for fun! =)

1. Dimming the lights. What would you say was your ideal first date?
a. Table for two, candlelight and all the works .
b. Lunch in the park or a beer at a gig – you want your dates to be like your hairstyle: low-maintenance.
c. An all-night adventure from the pub to the club.

2. Let’s talk business: how do you earn a living?
a
. As one of the few traders who survived the credit crunch. At least I have a job.
b. As a self-employed artist/photographer/writer– your only “conference call” is with your local take-away.
c. As a creative in a sea of suits – casual Fridays and the occasional board meeting.

3. Summer’s here! What’s your idea of the perfect vacation?
a. Vacation? What vacation? The board room is your spiritual home.
b. Lounging on the beach/under a tent/on your sofa – not doing very much.
c. A healthy combination of shopping and dining at a chic seaside resort. Basically, the Hamptons.

4. Oh to shine on the silver screen! The film or TV character you identify with the most?
a
. Shia LaBeouf in Wall Street II / Blair Waldorf in Gossip Girl.
b. John Travolta as Danny in Grease / Jennifer Beals as Alex in Flashdance.
c. Batman and Bruce Wayne/ Cinderella before and at the ball – something of a style schizophrenic!

5. Time for a confession. Which one of these embarrassing situations are you most likely to find yourself in?
a. Being an hour late for an important meeting at work because you have to get that shirt /blouse crisply ironed.
b. Turning up at a black-tie event in your favourite t-shirt… And blaming it on the dry-cleaners who never returned your beautiful suit /dress in time!
c. Embarrassing is a word unknown to your vocabulary. Life (and fashion) is all about taking risks and you’re a firm believer in trial and error.

6. In terms of style, what would you say was your biggest pet peeve?
a
. Your other half seeing you in a white t-shirt – dirty in the bargain!
b. Your other half seeing you with just a shirt /blouse on… and the infamous white socks (with a hole in them).
c. Being dressed with the same clothes for 3 days, and… everyone is staring at you!

Now count your a’s, b’s and c’s and check the results below.

A majority of a’s:

Shirt You mean business, no doubt about that. A go-getter, a jet-setter… Looking smart and chic is your absolute priority and God forbid you might ever leave the house without first indulging in a two-hour session of prepping and preening. Kudos for the dedication but aren’t you curious to find out whether the grass might in fact be greener on the other side of the sartorial fence? T-shirts aren’t merely for the gym or for sleeping (although chances are you don’t even approve of them as nightwear). They make a statement (whether political, cultural or random) and are the perfect way to let your inner rockstar out; what is there not to like?

A majority of b’s:

T-ShirtYou are something of a free spirit, master of your own fate and maker of your own rules – you might like to do things in style but not at the price of comfort. Luckily t-shirts nowadays are a fashion staple in their own right…. But aren’t you getting a little tired of life without a proper collar? And girls, can you think of anything that’s anywhere as sexy as wearing your man’s oversized shirt?

A majority of c’s:

None… or both?Perhaps you have no favourite… as you enjoy both with equal enthusiasm. Bravo! You have understood the importance of a healthy fashion diet where everything is on the menu. White shirts and silk blouses, V-neck and crew neck T-shirts… Where’s the fun in sticking to just one ingredient?
