The designer labels are so much into nylon totes nowadays. From Prada which always seem to release nylon totes and bags for every season, to Gucci and Burberry with their rendition of packable ones. I dunno what's the fascination the high-end labels have to really wanna tap into the 'nylon' area. Can't they just stick to leather (and canvas) so that it's really worth buying the, erm... 'designer'?
Anyway, most of the totes that they do are quite bland. Very typical shopper bags, not very 'super' attractive at all. Not until I saw this packable nylon tote from D&G. Yes, mentioning the name I would definitely say.. what? I know D&G too always has their versions of nylon bags in and out of seasons, but this one is much more interesting.
From the look, well, to be honest it's no difference to my packable tote from John Lewis though. But this one has snap button closure and comes with zippered pouch with leather zipper pull. What set it apart from other designers' packable totes is the removable strap which I think pretty neat and much more versatile for you to carry it. Sling it on your shoulder, carry it like a normal shopping bag or even do it crossbody coz the strap is adjustable. Plus, it adds to the whole outlook too which is nicer, don't you think?
So, D&G packable nylon tote. Surely a better way to be stylish and saving the environment whenever you head down to your grocery shopping trip! :)
