GAP's 6 Must-Haves for Autumn 2010

Getting enough of the British summer yet? If you're in this kind of weather right now - where you practically have no idea when the sun's gonna shine or rain gonna pour or chill wind gonna creep in - then you'll make a smooth transition into autumn. Though we're currently in mid-summer and the Met Office did say autumn this year will be delayed till October, but if the weather keep on going like this, hey... it's autumn already! (Sans the browning and falling of leaves though). Talking about mid-summer reminds me of going to the Regent's Park Open Air theatre to watch the annual Shakespeare's play by which normally the Midsummer's Night Dream is a must-seen!

Anyway, I think it's the perfect time to stock ourselves with some new stuff for next season. Or perhaps for those who're tightening the wallet, just look at your own 'collection' that you stored in your autumn boxes and see whether you got everything that you need. Anyhow if you still wanna be in style this autumn, Gap gives you what is their six must-haves in your wardrobe for the new season to come.

Bomber jacket is a must.
Gap normally did a buttery soft leather bombers every autumn.
I hope they could bring back the one that they did last 2007! =)

Two brands that's to me very synonymous with khaki pants are Dockers and Gap.
IMO, the fit and fabric from them are always the best.

Gap has reinterpret the varsity 'color-block' sweater in merino wool.
Meaning it'll be much fluid and softer to touch.

Regardless of whether you're not a lumberjack,
a plaid shirt is a must in any man's wardrobe!

I'm not really fond of anything Barbour-lookalike.
But for this autumn, military look is definitely make a comeback.
Drummer boy again, perhaps? :)

Black jeans rocks in every occasion for fall.
Sometimes if I think it's too 'dark', I then opt for dark-wash raw indigo.

Besides the 6 must-haves for autumn 2010, I think one piece that's worth getting from Gap is the cardigan that's been reinterpreted in a new way: hoodie style. It's from merino wool, so the feel of the fabric is super luscious. Plus, with the hood - just pull it up and it'll protect you from the chill breeze smashing your ears. =)
