Victor & Rolf Sequin 'Bib' Shirt

When you take something that is typically normal and reinterpreted it in a different way, then it'll definitely become edgy. Like this white shirt by Victor & Rolf. I love how the typical bib-front dress shirt is reinvented by replacing the pleats with the sequins instead - with them being randomly 'embroidered' and trail down like some sort of ants crawling on the chest right through the mid-torso. Which is somehow look like the 'ants' print that Caroline Issa did for Matches Fashion tote bag for London Fashion week last autumn 2009. So cool...

And mentioning London Fashion Week, I'm truly excited that it already started today! Any suprises that I might see... we'll have to wait for that. ;)
